I'm popping in to share a card I made playing along with CAS(E) This Sketch and the Muse Challenge Club. I'm so sad the weekend is over. The Sunday night blues come over me at night around here. I'm determined to make a card share one of my last orders of business -- to cheer me up! :) Then I will at least do some relaxing before I go to sleep.
Here are the fun sketch and inspiration:
Here is my card using PTI's Splat and Wet Paint II stamp sets:
I stamped the circles using PTI Splat stamp set - I selected an image and actually stamped the back side of it to get the solid circle. I used different ink colors, slightly overlapping each time - almost making a flower pattern. These are all CTMH ink colors: Sunset, Honey, Watermelon, Pear, and Dutch Blue. To further complicate things, I used second generation ink each time. Since the colors were so bright to begin with I still have plenty of color in my design, but it's not overpowering and allowed me to overlap my sentiment (Wet Paint II) in bold black. (Which I love to do). I also stamped the ampersand from the Splat stamp set, trimmed it and popped it up using foam tape for dimension. I kinda functions like the center of the flower. I layered this over Black PTI cardstock. I really like how it turned out.
Thanks so much for stopping by to visit!
God Bless,
Mandy
