H2H - background stamping and Father's Day

This week over at the H2H Challenge Blog the theme is background stamping and Father's Day cards. Worked out pretty well seeing as I need another Father's Day card anyway.

I used the stamp set and cardstock from the CTMH "Passages" WOTG kit. I have loved this paper and the colors for more masculine-themed projects. The stamp set is a watch face and keys and delicious little circle stamps for keyholes. I used one of the keyhole stamps on my background paper then finished off the look with the stamped keys that I cut out and attached under the ribbon. The stamped sentiment is also from this same stamp set. I love the font!

CAS Friday -- CFC #6

It has been a awhile since my last post, but I have been scrapping - I can assure you! More sweet Baby Girl layouts for my niece's album and a few cards. This one I envisioned when I was mentally running through my stash of stamps as I was brushing my teeth a few nights ago! I love the CAS theme and have wanted to spend more time experiementing with it. So, I am excited to have the CAS-ual Friday Challenge blog available now.

This weeks challenge was to select any combination of three accents in a continuous row as a tic-tac-toe.

For my card, I chose the bottom row: Buttons, Flowers, & Twine. All of the supplies used are Close To My Heart with the exception of the dark brown cardstock, Bazzill. The stamp set and patterned paper is from the "Grace" kit from (2?) falls ago. (Was it really that long ago? Yikes.)

Originally, I was also going with the Colour Q colors and the H2H wedding theme, but I wasn't able to blog it in time. Still gave me great ideas and I was quite pleased with it.

TFL and have a great rest of the week!
