CASE Study Challenge #110 -- Hope card

Whoo-wee. Two posts in one night!

And all before the kids are in bed. I don't know where it's coming from, but I'm coming close to the worthless part of the evening so I have to type fast. Every  night I have a little mental list of things I want to do after the kids are down and all is quiet again....and every night I crash and fall into bed shortly after they do! I've found that time of night is only good for reading or surfing the web. Maybe playing a little Words With Friends. One day, I'll stop kidding myself, plan accordingly and altogether avoid the disappointment of being dawg tired by 9pm.

On to CASE study! I always love this challenge but rarely get to  to play. I decided I was doing it today -- I thought it fit nicely with a card I wanted to make for a dear friend still fighting a breast cancer diagnosis. She's progresing nicely, but yesterday several more weeks of treatment were proposed as a "just to be safe" situation and it hit her hard, as anyone can imagine.

Here is the CASE study's inspiration piece for this week:

And my card inspired by this design:

With the brighter pink, this isn't as soft as I usually make for the pink ribbon cards, but I really like how it turned out -- cheerful and happy. We're thinking positive!

The paper kit is Sophia from CTMH and I used blush ink for the ribbon and Cotton Candy ink for the sentiment, butterfly, and inked edges. The pink pearl gems are KaiserScrapbooking. (leftover from a LONG ago idea - but matched perfectly! Love when that works out.  ... and who am I kidding? I need that to happen.    ALOT. ... I have a "ghosts of scrapbooking past" drawer in my craft room.  And it was all stuff that seemed like a good idea at the time. Of course.)

I used my CTMH Art Philosophy Cricut cartridge to cut the artisan labels. And, the pink ribbon and butterfly are adhered using 3-D Foam Tape. (one of my go-to supplies)

Thank you for visiting. And, if there are any prayers you are willing to whisper on my friend's behalf, it would be most humbly appreciated.

God bless!
