Card Patterns Sketch #148




Well ok - I am already sitting here with my pictures handy - I might as well get this one in.

I  was playing with my new Cricut Cartridge this weekend (notice I keep throwing that around - I was too excited. It's almost sad really.) and I loved this cupcake. The die-cut coordinates with one of the stamp sets that came with the Cartridge. Did I mention that I just got it this weekend?

Here is the Card Pattern sketch:




And my card using the sketch:

I stamped the cup portion of the cupcake in Watermelon and the icing in Sunset. The sentiment and cardstock are also Watermelon. Other cardstock is Sunset and Blush. I added a matching ribbon in Orange and the Licorice Opagues (gray) for the sprinkle. I also used my AP CARTRIDGE to cut the circle and scalloped circle.

    Have to say..... LOVE the colors! Your card is so pretty! I still haven't used my cupcake stamp. Can't believe it!

    Great card! Isn't the AP Cricut Cartridge oodles of fun?! I really like your use of colors (though I'm a tad bit wishing I had the retired Orange and Watermelon colors). Thank you for your inspiration. :-)
