Seize the Birthday #16

Hello!

I'm popping in while there is peace in the house (currently infiltrated with 7 children and only 2 are mine!) and everyone is playing nicely. I like it when we play nicely. I don't like it when we don't. But I think I've made my feelings on the subject plain around here. Of COURSE, as any mother knows, even knowing how mom feels about things, doesn't always provide enough of a deterrent! Sigghh. Oh well!

I have a card to share with you that I made for the Seize the Birthday sketch challenge.

I liked the simplicity of it - you can always do so many things with this type sketch!

Here is my card using the sketch as inspiration:

I thought this patterned paper was so pretty. It came from a 6x6 pad by Authentique. I combined the enamel dots from My Mind's Eye and Aqua Mist satin ribbon from PTI. I loved the aqua blue with this muted red shade. The stamp and die set is from PTI's "Boutique Borders" using Cocoa and Tulip ink by CTMH. Button is American Crafts (Amy Tangerine) and twine is PTI.

Thank you for stopping by!
