I am sharing a tag I made using the beautiful WPlus9 Merry & Bright stamp set.

I die cut the tag using PTI's Tag Sale 3 die and inked the edges with Distress Inks. Before stamping my "flame" on my candle I sponged a small amount of MFT Daffodil ink in the background for the glow.

That's all for me this time! Please hop on over to the ABC Christmas Challenge blog to join in on the fun! :)

Addicted To Stamps & More - #191 Anything Goes

Hello!

Welcome back for another fun challenge at Addicted to Stamps & More. :) This time it's Anything Goes - so a great time to jump in and play along.

I played around with my Silhouette this time. I so love "that thang" whenever I mess with it! I'm just not good at utilizing it like I should. Insert chagrinned face here.

I used up some paper scraps I've had for quite some time and some sequins and tiny pearl beads to keep with the soft feminine feel. Very easy and quick to do once the cut file is ready to go. I added the black die cut "ever" die cut also from the Silhouette (Font is Cheddar Jack found at dafont.com).

That's it for me! Back to work, work, work. Thanks SO much for stopping by to visit!

God Bless,
Mandy

Christmas Card Challenges - #21 Anything Goes

Good morning!

I hope everyone is finding their week off to a good start. I'm still working on settling in to my new digs and SUPER busy. Painting and unpacking, cleaning carpets, windows, blinds - you name it. :) So much so that I forgot to type up this post yesterday! Eeks! :) That's pretty much the story of my life.

Another fun and productive week over at Christmas Card Challenges - this one is "Anything Goes".

I  did some puzzle piece die cutting and recycled from a Christmas card I received in the mail. 8-) I thought the image of that deer and lights was SO cute that I saved it. Not the first time I've recycled cards (last year, I had a huge project with some gifted to me and I gifted them back in a recycled version!)

I used the MFT Stitched Wonky Window die cut to cut the window from my patterned paper (Basic Grey, Juniper Berry). I used the same die to cut the card and kept the negative which had my cute little image in it. Then laid it back into the window I created on the accent panel. It's all die cut using Blueprints 22. It's finished off with a  Lawn Fawn Green Sprakly twine bow. Super easy and quick!

That's all for me - back to my gallon of paint and roller brushes! :) Thanks SO much for stopping by to visit and bearing with my crafty absence while we get settled!

Mandy

Christmas Card Challenges - #20 Color Challenge

Hello!

Can't believe it's time for another week at Christmas Card Challenges! Where does the time go? :)
This week we have a new color challenge - some "not so traditional colors" and I love it.

I pulled out my fave set from MFT LLD Hug in a Mug. I dove into my hoard of 6x6 paper for the strips and mugs. I used a little gray patterned paper for the whip and stamped the sprinkles on it from the same set. The mugs are popped up on foam tape (Of course - I can't showcase them any other way.) 8-)

Thanks so much for stopping by to visit! Have a great week and don't forget to check out the fun over at Christmas Card Challenges!

Prize - £10.00 Voucher

For my card, I just went quite literal with the interpretation (Not something I always do, but this was a fun literal.) :)

I have a MFT covered card this time as the hat stamp and dies are from the Winter Warmth set. The background is sponged Boysenberry ink over the card base then covered with the overlay I created using the Jumbo Dot Cover Up die plate. The sentiment is stamped on a little strip from my Hug In A Mug stamp set. I used a Jumbo Stitched Fishtail Flag die cut in PTI's Soft Stone cardstock for the focal images background. I finished it all off with a little matching twine from American Crafts and a Recollections clothes pin. :)

Please come over and check out the fun. It's such a cool challenge! :)

Christmas Card Challenges - #19 Photo Inspiration

Hello!

I'm back with another challenge from the Christmas Card Challenges blog! This week it's a new photo inspiration to get your mojo humming and stamping along...

I used the colors, strips, and evergreen peeking through as my inspiration...

My paper strips are from Basic Grey's Juniper Berry 6x6 pad. I used some scrap Christmas paper (CTMH) die cut using Paper Smooches Wreath Builder dies for my holly leaves. The sentiment is from Paper Smooches Christmas Sampler and it's stamped onto a banner die cut with a MFT Blueprint die.

Super simple - these would be easy for mass production and great for using up paper strips and scraps! (Which I need to do more of! I just forced myself to get rid of a TON this weekend. I kept reminding myself that I had so much paper that I wouldn't miss what I unloaded - it stung a little, but I'm still proud of myself. LOL)

Hope everyone has a GREAT week ahead and you stop by Christmas Card Challenges to join in the fun!

God Bless,
Mandy

PDE Linky Party - Anything Goes

Hello!

It's time for more "Anything Goes" fun over at the PDE Linky Party! Come play along - since it's always anything goes - and it can be absolutely any medium, it's a great chance to show of some crafty creativity. Crocheting, sewing, painting, baking -- absolutely anything! :) It's a great gallery of inspiration when you have time to peruse the talented crafters linking up and hosting each week. :)

I created a little 'scene' this week with a new-to-me Lawn Fawn set.

I stamped my see saw and critters and colored them in with Copic markers. I sponged a sky and grass before trimming my panel to fit behind the Mini Scalloped Oval frame (MFT die cut from CTMH paper, Brushed kit). It's popped up on foam tape on a card base embossed with clouds. I added some twine, paper strips, and colored enamel dots to give it a more finished look. I love the fun feel of this one and plan to send it to my sister as soon as I get more settled!

I am also playing along with 4 Crafty Chicks - Scenic challenge and Stampin' Royalty's - Anything Goes challenge.

2 Creative Chicks - Showcase #9

Hello!

I'm back for another monthly showcase over at 2 Creative Chicks! :) It's always Anything Goes so a great time to play along and join the crafty fun.

2 Creative Chicks

I decided to get all girly and go totally pink!

I used a Pink Lemonade cardstock card base (MFT) and sponged Ripe Raspberry dye ink in the center. I used the circles background stamp from MFT and the same ink to stamp a partial background for my focal point. The rose is a Paper Smooches die cut and the papers in the center of the image are from a MFT spring paper pad. The sentiment is stamped from MFT's LLD Tickled Pink stamp set. Very simple and easy this time around! : )

Christmas Card Challenges - #18 Anything Goes

Hello!

It's a week of Anything Goes fun over at Christmas Card Challenges! If you haven't yet started working ahead on this year's Christmas cards -- now's the perfect time. You can make any type of Christmas Card this week, play along, and join in the fun. :D No time like the present!

I combined several products and companies on this card and love how it turned out. :)

My Kraft cardstock and red twine is Recollections. The red cardstock is Pure Poppy from PTI, the sentiment from WPlus9 Merry & Bright set, the poinsettia is Tim Holtz Christmas Blueprints, and finally the stencil and Double Stitched Rectangle die cut are My Favorite Things. I colored the stamped image in with Prismacolor Pencils. The plaid patterned paper is from Basic Grey's Juniper Berry pad and it was die cut using MFT's Mini Scalloped Stitched Rectangle die cut.

It's such a basic layout and design, but I love how the combination of layers and textures and colors work together! Great for an Anything Goes kind of week. :)

Thanks SO much for stopping by to visit! Please come back again soon and please head on over to Christmas Card Challenges to check out the fun with the other gals. Fun inspiration every week!

God Bless,
Mandy
