I'm popping in with another fun card for the new challenge over at Addicted To Stamps & More. This time it's all about Holidays. That's always fun - and so many to choose from!
Since Memorial Day is coming up, I went with a fun patriotic theme.
This image (and sentiment) is stamped from a retired Close To My Heart set on Crate Paper patterned paper and layered over muted blue and coral for a different take on patriotic colors. The edges are scissor distressed and sponged ink distressed. One of my favorite embellies on this one is the Distress Glitter. I just colored some lines with a glue pen on the edges and shook the glitter over it. Then layered my sequins and veneer stars over top. Easy peasy! :)
Thanks so much for stopping by to visit! Please do so again soon --- and please don't forget to hop on over to Addicted to Stamps & More for more inspiration and play along with the Holiday fun.
God Bless,
Mandy

ReplyDeleteI really like this card a lot, Mandy. Beautiful design, stamping and sentiment. Makes me home sick for the USA. Liberty - lots to think about and pray about with that sentiment. Melissa
DeleteYour card is truly captivating with the muted red-white-and-blue used alongside your Statue of Liberty image. Beautiful!
