"I made a wish....." -- Sophia layout

Despite being practically bedridden for most of the week, I almost daydreamed about getting back in my scraproom. Be it desperation or my own undeniable nerdiness, I'm not sure -- but the results are the same... I finally got to do some creating and forget about holding the couch down. Friday night, I holed up in my room at my desk and the time flew by. (The sheer fact that I was able to concentrate on something that long without needing a nap was a testament to my recovery.) ..... A few hours alone with my new Sophia kit and I was in hog heaven.
I had picked out a layout the day before, so it went faster....my ideas were already there. (the hardest part).....I wanted to use some pictures from our this past vacation so far (St. Louis), but not make a vacation layout....I have more pictures than I know what to do with from that trip, so I need to get creative.....

And a close-up of the stamped embellishments, paper flowers (Daisy Doodles in Candy Pink by Prima Marketing), and buttons (CTMH's new Pink Assortment)...all other supplies used are CTMH. (well, ok -- there MAY have been a Martha Stewart border punch used...but everything ELSE is CTMH).....

Ooh, I almost forgot....the titles were printed on my computer using this delicious new font I purchased from ScrapnFonts.com....The name of it is SNFAmbrosia Bold....I used the CTMH RGB codes to print in Hollyhock and Goldrush. ...a few floating text boxes to allow overlap of the swirliers and voila! I'm the least techie person you'll meet, so this felt like a major accomplisment for me.
