Unscripted #174 - Christmas

I had fun with the Unscripted Sketch this week, mostly because I made a Christmas card with it. I had so much fun with Christmas cards last year that I've looked forward to starting them again this year. Maybe, I'll should make it a year-round thing. Spread the joy throughout the year. :-)

I loved the idea of dropped Christmas ornaments hanging from string in place of the flowers in the sketch. Here's how it turned out:

I also loved the idea of the "non-traditional" Lagoon blue (CTMH color) in this Christmas scene. That inspiration came from the patterned paper I chose from the CTMH Stella kit, (Lagoon and Olive). The solid paper and ink for the sentiment is Cocoa. The ornaments are stamped in Cranberry and Lagoon, with matching ribbons and twine used for each. The Red Glitz Glitter Gel is dabbed in the center of each little snowflake on the ornaments and sentiment. (All products are CTMH.)

Thanks for stopping by! Hope you are having a great week. Don't forget to check out Unscripted Sketches for more artwork and for inspiratoin from the Design Team and other challenge participants. Pin It

Sheer creative genious to use the ornaments on strings (especially love the Baker's Twine bows). Thanks for sharing your card with us this week at Unscripted Sketches :)
