CAS-ual Fridays Challenge # 36

Black & White

I thought that this challenge was going to tear me up! Black and white - yay! NO color? Boo! ....BUT, once I got started, I wanted to make about 5 different cards. I didn't. But I wanted to. I just kept having ideas. That is pretty exciting mojo to have that much inspriation out of one challenge. So YAY for CAS-ual Fridays. :) Something I didn't think I could do, then I loved it. That's why I have gotten such a kick out of doing challenges. I just love everything about them!

I swear I pulled out 3 or 4 stamp sets right off the bat. I went with an "old" favorite; my "Just Because" stamp set. It came from a card kit many moons ago. I love the girly images of the sassy little feministas on this set.

I used my CTMH AP Cricut cartrdige to cut the framed black shape to mat behind my stamped image on white PTI cardstock.

I used black Tsukineko VersaFine ink to stamp the image of the girl holding the heart and to stamp the "just because" sentiment on the card base. Black twill ribbon (from Micheals) is tied around the card base.  I mounted black "Licorice Opagues" from CTMH on either side of the sentiment. This card was really simple and I made it quickly; even with guests in the room..

Here is my fun little card:

Thanks for looking! Hope you had a great start to your week. Pin It
