Christmas Card Challenges - #6

Hello!

It's time for another fun week over at Christmas Card Challenges. For week #6, we are playing with the theme "Anything Goes". Use this as a chance to make one of those designs you've been batting around in your brain for a few days, but haven't quite found the mojo to execute. (I'm assuming I'm not the only one that struggles with that particular disease.)

In the true spirit of "Anything Goes" week, I made a card with some scraps I'd been hanging on to, shoved back into a 6x6 paper pad, no less. The die cut red cardstock (Jumbo Dots Cover up by MFT) and patterned paper beneath were part of an incomplete idea several weeks ago during my Christmas Crazy time. I pulled it out and taped it onto this card base like I knew what I was doing this time! (Even though I really didn't - at that point.) I'm super really in love with the Wonky Window Dies from MFT and decided it would be a great mate to my little accent pieces here. I added another scrap of PP from my Juniper Berry pad (Basic Grey) and stamped the sentiment on it from MFT Gift Tag Greetings. (I've definitely got my $ worth from that set.) I finished it off with twine and a few CTMH adhesive sequins and misc 4mm tiny cup sequins. (I swear I can't even pick them up with my man hands.)

Sooooo, there you have it. My quick and easy throw-it-together-but-look-like-you-meant-it card. I really like how it turned out. Probably because it's one of my fave color combos.

Thanks SO much for stopping by to visit! I hope you liked it and will back again sometime soon.

God Bless,
Mandy
