I'm (mostly) Back! .... and a few challenges

Hello!
Long time - no post. Wow. We have been suffering The Plague of 2015 in our house. All inhabitants have not fully recovered. It's been a mess! Marc and I both had the flu all last week and I struggled the first of this week. As of yesterday, I was finally feeling (mostly) normal. No nap all day! That was my goal for the day and I made it. I was so excited. Unfortunately, I now have both children home with it. His Majesty has been home since LAST Thursday with low-grade fever. He seems to feel ok most of the time, but his temperature has stayed elevated. Miss Priss has been home since Tuesday of this week and her fevers and headaches seem a little more severe than his. Big Daddy is convinced His Majesty knows how to manipulate the thermometer because he makes no qualms about expressing his lack of desire to return to school. Lol. The little turkey.

Now, onto my card! Hee. It took me two crafty sessions to make this little ole thing, but under the circumstances, I wasn't all that surprised. It turned out pretty cute, but I'm not wild about it!

I used the current Muse challenge for my inspiration:

I decided to play with some of my cute Paper Smooches critters again:

I used papers from Echo Park's Head Over Heels 6x6 pad. I cut all the circles, card base included, using Spellbinders circle nesting dies. The cute little hamsters are from Party Posse stamp set and the love word die from Love & Cherish die set. I die cut it 5 times and layered it to make it stand out. The sweet little flower is from Blossoming Buds stamp set. I stamped and trimmed the hamsters and flower by hand. The little bow I added to make my girl hamster is from Freezy Fellas.

I am playing along with a few other challenges, trying to regain my much missed mojo:

Thanks so much for stopping by to visit! Hope everyone is staying healthy!

God Bless,
Mandy
