Mojo 241

Ok - last but not least! My favorite card I made this weekend.

And, the later it gets, the less I have to say in my posts! :) Kinda how I operate, I guess.

This mojo sketch with the circle focal point and double-ended banner caught my eye. It took me a while to catch up with the banner craze, but now that I have I really can't get enough! They are so fun on cards and layouts, I think.

I used scraps from one of my recent favorite CTMH kits, Typeset. I made back to school layouts for my son and both nephews last year. Now, I've made a graduation card for my sister's nephew (by marriage).

My daughter asked me, "Do you think he will like it?" as she watched over my shoulder. I told her, "Well, I'm putting money in it - so, yes, he will like it". :) I was 18 once, I remember that well!

All products used are CTMH with the exception of the Kraft cardstock from Papertrey Ink and the black/white twine which is from The Twinery.

I distressed all surface edges with Black ink and stamped the sentiments in VersaFine Onyx Black ink from Tsukinkeo. (WONDERFUL for stamping sentiments and little details - I highly recommend!)

The circle element is attached only on 3 sides, so that it can double as a pocket to hold his gift.

Thanks for looking! Hope you have a great week! Pin It

  2. I love how you’ve turned the card around so the banner is at the bottom and the colours are great too.
I’m sure your sister’s nephew is going to be thrilled when he receives this card on such a special occasion.
